Michelle is the first friendly face encountered upon arrival at Welling Centre, and the helpful voice on the other end of the phone. In addition to reception, she handles much of the daily operations.

Outgoing, kind, and empathetic, Michelle’s strong desire to be of service led her to a wide variety of previous work experiences, ranging from working with children as a nanny, art, and day camp instructor, to furniture upholstery and shipping, and working in a destructive testing laboratory as a materials engineering technologist. Michelle truly embraces her “Jill-of-all-trades” personality, putting many of her accumulated skills to work at Welling Centre.

A common theme running through several of Michelle’s hobbies is creative self-expression, as she enjoys acrylic painting, knitting, sewing, costuming, decorating, furniture refinishing, and singing.

When she’s not keeping busy with creative pursuits, she loves spending time with her pets or in nature camping and hiking. Michelle also has a deep love of self-directed learning with interests in etymology, humanities, and alternative health.
