Affordable Therapy & Low Cost Counselling

Society used to look at mental health issues as something to be ashamed of, but we don’t have to any more. Mental health, like physical health, is something that absolutely everyone must work at to feel good. It’s rewarding work, but it isn’t always easy or affordable.

The counsellors at Welling Centre aim to build trusting, safe, relationships with you, where they can understand your situation from your perspective, and help you to discover the hidden resources that would allow you to find your source of wellness once again.

Holly Pedersen

Student Therapist

Holly is an empathic and warm-hearted individual who is passionate about making meaningful connections with others. She is currently completing the practicum portion of her master’s degree at Welling Centre under the supervision of Brian Welling, Registered Psychologist.

Drawn to the psychodynamic and humanistic schools of thought, Holly is dedicated to help her clients achieve a fulfilling and balanced life. A trusting and collaborative relationship promotes a safe and healing space where her clients can be seen, heard, and understood. Holly’s approach to healing is holistic and client centered.

Holly has been married for 12 years and has two lovely daughters. Growing up in a small rural town, she highly values the benefits of belonging to a community. Holly is an active member within her community: she holds a position on the counsel board at her daughter’s school, is the events coordinator at her church, and helps her husband coach soccer. Building community is an advantageous quality that she hopes to instill within her daughters.

Each professionally supervised 50-minute session with Holly is available for a $70 fee and is eligible for extended health benefits through most insurance companies.

Suzan Erritzoe

Transpersonal Counsellor and Workshop Facilitator

Suzan is an experienced Danish-registered counsellor, teacher and workshop facilitator. She has been seeing clients individually for over 20 years, as well as guiding groups in meditation and mindfulness and leading workshops in how to align with deeper levels of our true inner nature and authentic being.

Her psychotherapeutic education draws widely from different traditions: from cognitive and psychodynamic to the existential and transpersonal approaches. Her work has over the years become more centered around what she sees as our unique ability, to directly connect with what is deeper within us than our psychological structures. This is a step into a ’Deeper” or ”Higher” Self, informed by our innate levels of heart-knowledge. A reconnection with the genuine aspects of our own true nature, that register in us as qualities of Love, Meaning, Clarity, Purpose, Intimacy and Belonging.

Each 50-minute session with Suzan is available for $95. Each 80-minute couples session is $145.
